This document briefly summarizes ways you can prepare for, and embark on, a Federal career. Guidelines, tips and additional information that will help those seeking Federal employment.

Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve, a DoD office was established to promote cooperation and understanding between Reserve Component Service members and their civilian employers and to assist in the resolution of conflicts arising from an employee's military commitment. These citizen warriors could not defend and protect us at home and abroad without the continued promise of meaningful civilian employment for themselves and their families.

Submit a military records request to get your DD214 or other military service records through the milConnect website.

Assisting Active Duty, Reserve and Veterans of the Army, Coast Guard, Marine Corps and Navy obtain their transcript documents. 

Family Assistance Specialist, Family Readiness Group are within the Family Assistance Centers (FAC). The Family Assistance Services (FACs) provide a variety of referral based services to families and retirees from all military components. Family Programs exists for the sole purpose of supporting and military families and their needs. To find a FAC near you, click on the link here.

TAAs help you cut through the red tape, provide information and assistance to Service members and their families to help them understand and access state and federal benefits as well as services through the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Veterans Business Administration (VBA)  Military Health System and the Department of Labor.  We research and resolve issues associated with entitlements if you encounter issues. We get the right folks involved when you need their help.
